Don McCartney is a senior lecturer in marketing for the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at UW-Green Bay. He received his B.A. in zoology from Indiana University and his M.B.A. the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He has taken post-Master’s course work at Marquette University.
Mr. McCartney, due to his administrative duties, is currently teaching a limited number of undergraduate classes in business. These include international marketing and the introductory business class. Past courses taught include, consumer behavior, marketing research, marketing management, selling & sales management and introductory marketing.
In terms of research, Mr. McCartney has interest in the areas of applied research for business feasibility, economic impact and market analysis.
In terms of service, Mr. McCartney has worked with the university and outside organizations on numerous projects. He also serves as the advisor for the American Marketing Association collegiate chapter and vice president for Sigma Beta Delta, business honorary organization. He was the 2001-2002 recipient of the Founders Association Award for Excellence in Community Outreach.
During the last three years, Mr. McCartney has traveled to the Middle East on several occasions working under the auspices of grants from the U.S. State Department.
