A Business Analyst (BA) is a person that acts as a liaison among different stakeholders (including various business departments and functions) and Information technology groups (programmers and solution providers) to facilitate creation of IT based solutions for business problems. BAs are needed to facilitate coupling the critical bridge between strategy and execution and drive business value. Austin E.
