The Experience
Whether you are in band, orchestra or choir, this music camp will provide you with many new skills that you can take back to your school in Fall. You and your parents will be amazed at the musical progress you will make during this one week camp. You will meet new friends who share the same love for music that you do; and you will be inspired to continue on this amazing journey in the musical arts! Join us as we celebrate our 44th year -- a musical tradition at UW-Green Bay!
Band

By popular request, Professor Kevin Collins, the UWGB Music Camps Director and UWGB's Director of Bands, will conduct the primary camp band, the Wind Symphony. Dr. Scott Wright, our virtuoso clarinetist and fabulous conductor will conduct the Symphonic Band. A Sunday afternoon audition will determine band and orchestral wind/percussion placement.
Orchestra

Guaranteed to motivate and inspire you, Orchestra students equally enjoy this camp. You will participate in multiple rehearsals, sectionals and masterclasses that will bring you to a new level of musicianship. The Orchestra Director's name and professional information will be announced at a later date, on this website.
Choir

Senior high voice students will be members of the Phoenix Chorale, conducted by UW-Green Bay Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Randall Anton Meder. Though the in-depth exploration of vocal technique and musical concepts, you'll be finding your own voice, and making memorable music with other serious singers like yourself.
AGAIN THIS YEAR: Are you a choir student interested in Musical
Theatre? You can participate in musical theatre instruction, culminating in
a joint performance with the All-Camp Chorus in the Weidner Center. Limited
to 20 students, Musical Theatre track students will receive an introduction
to movement, acting and singing style. Register early for this one!
Guest Faculty and Artists
In addition to the excellent and dedicated UW-Green Bay faculty members who teach at the camps, you will be taught by some of the finest teachers and professional performers from across the country. Click here for more information about this summer’s Music Camp faculty.
