Class of 1999 Results
Coordinated by
the Career Services Office at
the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay
Each
year, the Career Services Office conducts a follow-up survey of its
newest alumni. The report
focuses on the employment status of December, May and August graduates
who received a bachelor's
degree. In addition to receiving a copy of the survey with their
diploma, recent graduates are mailed surveys during the months
following graduation. Telephone
calls are made to those individuals who have not responded by March.
Faculty and employers are also asked to contribute their
knowledge of alumni whereabouts. A final report is compiled in April.

Survey Results
A large number of
individuals from the Class of 1999 utilized the Career Services Office
for job search-related assistance (i.e., assistance with resume writing,
cover letter writing and interview strategies).
More than 17% of those surveyed reported finding their positions
through recruitment services of the Career Services Office. The
likelihood that the office played a positive role in the job searches of
the remaining graduates should not be discounted.
