Career Services at the University of Wisconsin -
Green Bay strives to provide professional, personal recruitment services
for employers. It
is our hope that any organization can find the best way to connect with
our graduates through the following services.
Job and
Internship Postings:
All job and internship openings are posted on-line in our PRO system
free of charge. These can be forwarded to Career Services by mail,
e-mail, phone or on-line web submission as noted on our List
Positions link. Unless otherwise stated, all jobs are
posted for 30 days and internships are listed indefinitely for students
to research and explore each semester. When appropriate, copies of
announcements will be forwarded to academic departments for additional
advertising.
Phoenix Recruitment
On-Line (PRO):
FREE!
Phoenix Recruitment On-Line, or PRO, is a comprehensive system that
allows students and employers to interact on-line for employment
connections. Employers can reach candidates directly by posting
positions and by reviewing candidate resumes 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. Candidates can effectively find positions and can apply
directly on-line by submitting documents and applications
electronically. Click here
to request access to PRO.
On-Campus Interviews:
FREE!
On-campus recruiting provides you the opportunity to interview potential
candidates at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay campus. Our
Fall recruitment program begins October 1st each year; our Spring
recruitment begins February 1st each year. Upon scheduling an
on-campus recruiting visit, you will receive access to our PRO (Phoenix
Recruitment On-Line) system to view your interview schedule, review
resumes submitted to you by candidates and search through our resume
database for other potential candidates.
Resume Referral:
FREE!
Any time your organization is in
need of qualified applicants for an open position, Career Services will
conduct a resume search and forward resumes directly to you either by
mail, fax or e-mail. You will receive less than 48 hours
service response with same quality service, but improved resume quality.
Internships
Hiring
an intern from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay is a
"win-win" experience for both the employer and the student.
It is an opportunity for you to gain assistance with special projects
and day-to-day operations while the student gains real world experience. The staff in Career Services serve as liaisons
to direct you to faculty contacts for coordinating internships as well
as post your internship positions through Phoenix Recruitment On-Line
(PRO), our on-line recruitment system
Job

each fair
These fairs, held in the Fall (late September/early October) and Spring

for interaction with students and networking with potential candidates
at a variety of academic levels. The registration fee covers the cost of a

College and Lawrence University, the Graduate & Professional School Fair
provides the opportunity for
you to speak with students, alumni, faculty, and community members about
the programs you represent, admissions requirements, and success stories
of your graduates. For 2006, a fair will be held at the UW-Green Bay
Campus earlier in the day and a second fair will be held at the St.
Norbert College campus that evening. Please note: there will
not be a fair during the 2007-08 academic year due to construction
