Employment Projections Every other year, the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases its report of employment prospects for various occupations. These projections take into account growth in fields as well as the need to replace existing workers due to retirements. Here is a sampling of some of the occupations that are anticipated to grow much faster than the average from the years 2006-2016:
