Creating a Resume 101
Learn how to develop a resume that effectively markets you to employers. During this session, we will also address the basics of writing a cover letter.

Dine Like a Professional Etiquette Lunch
This is an opportunity for currently enrolled students to develop new skills in a fun learning environment.   This event is FREE for UW-Green Bay students.  Pre-registration is required.  Space is limited. 

Interviewing Basics - Make a Great Impression
Learn how to put your best foot forward when interviewing for a job or internship.  Topics include how to prepare for an interview and how to effectively answer questions. .

Job & Internship Fairs
Held once each semester, the Job & Internship Fair is an excellent opportunity to network with employers and professionals to discuss full-time professional positions and internships. At the fair, learn about career opportunities within various organizations and career fields. Whether you are a senior beginning your professional job search, a junior seeking an internship, or a freshman/sophomore who is attempting to decide upon a major or career path -- all students and majors are welcome!

Just In Time Job Fair
Held in late Spring, this event allows students to visit with employers who are seeking candidates for full-time, part-time, internship and summer/seasonal positions.

LinkedIn- The Basics to Get Started
What is LinkedIn? How can I use LinkedIn to help me with my job search? How do I create a professional profile? Learn about this social media networking tool and how it can help you begin your professional career. Specifics to be discussed include LinkedIn groups, endorsements, recommendations and how to connect with alumni!

LinkedIn Photo Booth
A professional photo is essential to make a great first impression on your LinkedIn profile. Stop by the LinkedIn photo booth to have a professional headshot taken. Wear a professional quality shirt/blouse for your portrait. Your photo will be emailed to you from Career Services.

Majors Fair
The Majors Fair is intended to help students solidify a decision about their major, build bridges between academic majors and possible careers, and help students transition from general advising to department-based faculty advisors.  Faculty representatives from each major will be available in one place to provide students with information and answer questions about the learning opportunities and career possibilities specific to the academic programs.

Mock Interview Day
Interview skills are critical for today’s job seeker, so candidates need to learn how to effectively convey their strengths and qualifications to a prospective employer.  Mock Interview Day will bring a variety of professionals to UW-Green Bay to help our students enhance their interview skills. 

The Basics of Applying to Graduate School
Learn techniques and procedures for researching graduate programs and applying for admission to programs. Understand the differences in required testing and other application requirements.

Internship Draft Day Logo
Internship Draft Day
Sponsored by the NEWERA Higher Education Allliance and the NEW Manufacturing Alliance, this event is typically held in the fall at Lambeau Field.  Students can register to interview with various organizations in northeast Wisconsin based upon their interests.
