Don't Be
"That" Candidate - Employer Panel
Learn what NOT to do as a candidate in the job search. Are
you really going to answer your cell phone? Are you going
to go to an interview in jeans? Will you challenge the
screening and employment process? These are all
experiences employers have had interacting with applicants.
Employer representatives will be available to share stories
about what they have experienced screening and interviewing
candidates. Tips will be provided to attendees about how
to standout in the job search process in a POSITIVE manner and
how best to avoid being THAT candidate.

Sophomore Success Day
Feeling
stressed about deciding on a major and choosing a career path?
Offered once each semester prior to Registration, the staff in
Academic Advising and Career Services team up to help students
avoid the “Sophomore Slump." No appointments are necessary that day. Students can stop in to
ask questions anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and an

Connect with Our Alumni
UW-Green Bay alumni are a great resource for students in
understanding fields, jobs, careers and the basics of
professionalism! Take advantage of this opportunity
to network one-on-one with UW-Green Bay alumni. The format will
be a traditional speed networking concept where you will be
one-on-one with alumni. Immediately following, there will be an
open reception and presentation of Career Services' Annual
Recruitment Partner of the Year Award! Light hors d'oeuvres will
be served.
Professional attire is strongly recommended! Consider creating
business cards to share with alumni you meet. Students
registering in advance will be entered into a drawing for a $25
