The Undergraduate Catalog
The Undergraduate Catalog provides information about academic programs at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. The catalog lists academic requirements and is a good starting point for planning a program of study. Students should plan their official programs with the help of the Academic Advising Office and faculty advisers from their majors.
Effective Dates
This catalog is in effect from July 1, 2005, until it is superseded by a new Undergraduate Catalog. Policies of the previous catalog are in effect until June 30, 2005, unless changed by official announcement.
Online Resources
This print publication summarizes most major points of interest involving academics at UW-Green Bay. Additional information is available online at the UW-Green Bay Web site under the link “Academics.” Along with providing an electronic version of this book, the “Undergraduate Catalog” site offers links to related information.
University Policy
The provisions of this catalog are not to be regarded as an irrevocable contract between a student and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
The information in this book was accurate at the time of its printing. As is true at all universities, changes occur in academic requirements, courses offered, and general regulations. Changes are usually announced in the Schedule of Classes or by direct mail. Contact the Registrar’s Office at 920-465-2055 or online at www.uwgb.edu/registrar.
Changes in curriculum or graduation requirements are not retroactive unless they are to a student’s advantage and can be accommodated within the time span of years normally required for graduation.
Fees, Tuition and Financial Aid
Fee and tuition information is announced as far in advance of each session as possible by the Office of the Registrar. If fees and tuition have been set by the Board of Regents before printing deadlines, they appear in the University’s Schedule of Classes, which is published before each fall, spring and summer session. If the information is not known until after publication deadlines, it is printed by the Registrar as a fee information sheet. Information may also be obtained by calling the Office of the Registrar or accessing the University’s Web site at http://www.uwgb.edu. Information on student loans, grants and scholarships is available at the Web site of the UW-Green Bay Office of Financial Aid.
