The Undergraduate Catalog

The Undergraduate Catalog provides information about academic programs at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. The catalog lists academic requirements and is a good starting point for planning a program of study. Students should plan their official programs with the help of the Academic Advising Office and faculty advisers from their majors.

Keep and Save

Students admitted to UW-Green Bay to begin their studies during the 2008-09 academic year should bookmark this site and/or print relevant pages as a reference resource. In most cases, this will be their “catalog of record” to guide future academic choices.

This catalog is in effect for new students from July 1, 2008, until publication of a new Undergraduate Catalog for the next entering cohort.

University Policy

The provisions of this catalog are not to be regarded as a permanent, irrevocable contract between a student and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

The information in this book was accurate at the time of publication. As is true at all universities, changes occur in academic requirements, courses offered, and general regulations. Changes are usually announced in the online Schedule of Classes at http://sis.uwgb.edu/schedule/ or by direct mail. Contact the Registrar’s Office at 920-465-2657 or online at http://www.uwgb.edu/registrar/.

Changes in curriculum or graduation requirements are not retroactive unless they are to a student’s advantage and can be accommodated within the time span of years normally required for graduation.

Fees, Tuition and Financial Aid

Fee and tuition information is announced as far in advance of each session as possible by the University. The most current information may be obtained by accessing the University’s web site at http://www.uwgb.edu and http://www.uwgb.edu/bursar/. Information on student loans, grants and scholarships is available at the UW-Green Bay Office of Financial Aid site, http://www.uwgb.edu/financialaid/.
