Fall 2008 Lecture Series


Ted Widmer will speak on "The Question of America's Mission" in Rose Hall 250, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, on Wednesday, October 29 at 2:15 pm.

Widmer, a former speechwriter for President Bill Clinton, is Director of the John Carter Brown Library at Brown University in Providence,  Senior Research Fellow in the American Strategy Program at the  New America Foundation (Washington DC), and the author of Ark of the Liberties (2008). 

Rick Perlstein will speak on "Nixonland: A Guided Tour" in Union's Phoenix Room B, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, on Monday, November 17 at 2:15 pm.

Perlstein is Senior Fellow at the Campaign for America's Future and the author of the New York Times bestseller Nixonland: The Rise of a President and the Fracturing of America (2008).
