Educating the Chancellor: Continuing the Discussion
Back to web page: Continuing the Discussion
In my written communications with campus and community, I often conclude with the request: “I’d like to hear from you. E-mail me at shepardb@uwgb.edu”

While I value personal e-mails, I additionally want this report to stimulate discussion beyond a one-on-one exchange with the chancellor. Feel free as always to fill my Outlook inbox, certainly, but with this document I encourage you to enrich our understanding and to engage colleagues on campus and across the community in discussing the observations detailed within.

I will gauge the reaction by way of channels both formal and informal. It is likely we’ll discuss the issues at some length during governance group sessions and meetings of our community advisory boards this fall. I expect feedback when I reference the report in my remarks at convocation and at the inauguration. And, if you see me in the hallway (and you are not running late), I'd welcome a comment or two in passing.

This report is built on a series of conversations involving at least 2,083 people. But, it’s only a start. Let’s keep the conversation going.
