University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Chancellor Bruce Shepard presented "Northeastern Wisconsin's Growth Agenda" to the UW System Board of Regents Business, Finance, and Audit Committee on Thursday, April 6. The board held its April 2006 meetings on the UW-Green Bay campus.

		This is not an agenda for UWGB, it is UWGB’s best effort to strategically support the region’s agenda. Coming from me, that may sound suspiciously self-serving. Tomorrow morning, the full board will hear a panel of community leaders emphasize the region’s agenda, the centrality of UWGB to that agenda, and, along with other leaders who will be in the room, their willingness to join with you in Madison, month after month, year after year, to make this happen. We welcome your questions, your guidance and direction, and, later, after your thorough and deliberative consideration, our region hopes for your support.
