The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents is conducting a national search for the sixth chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, which is a comprehensive public institution with an enrollment of approximately 6,600 students, exceptional facilities and affordable, high-quality programs. The University’s 360° of Learning brand is a promise that UW-Green Bay students will learn to examine and solve problems from multiple perspectives. Founded in 1965 and a member institution of the tradition-rich University of Wisconsin System, UW-Green Bay boasts more than 32,000 alumni.

The next chancellor will succeed Thomas K. Harden, who announced in December 2013 that he intends to conclude his tenure as the University’s top administrator in August 2014 after serving in this capacity since June 1, 2009.

Our next chancellor will…

…lead a University that has the exceptional support of its community and is recognized for its importance to the quality of life, growth and promising future of the Northeastern Wisconsin region.

…guide a campus that will make a difference in the lives of its current students and generations of students to come through engaging teaching and research and enhanced out-of-class opportunities.

…work on a beautiful campus known for its friendly, vibrant, enthusiastic, and committed faculty, staff and students.

…serve a region nationally recognized for its recreational opportunities, green initiatives, natural areas, healthy economy, entrepreneurial potential, and business and industry partnerships.

…build on the momentum for growth in a community that is eager for expanded higher educational opportunities and supportive of growth and collaboration.

A tremendous opportunity awaits the next leader of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
