Strategic planning
UW-Green Bay Chancellor Thomas K. Harden took the lead in January 2010 as the institution began development of Strategic Planning Themes to guide future institutional planning.
During spring 2010, University leadership — aided by a neutral outside consultant on institutional planning — held public sessions on campus and in the community. The listening/brainstorming sessions brought together nearly 300 people who volunteered their time and ideas in 15 separate sessions.
Development of a half dozen or more “themes” was under way as the 2009-10 fiscal year drew to a close. The University is reviewing all existing plans, among them the Academic Plan, the Campus Master Plan, and Enrollment Plan, in anticipation that these plans will be updated and informed by priorities identified in the institutional strategic planning process.
