Spring 2005
- Internship Program debuts with two video production interns.
- Programming continues to develop
- “Jaded Nights” variety show – the first ever student produced full-length program on Residence Life Channel 20.
- Men’s and Women’s basketball programming continues.
- Quantity and quality of full motion video commercials and promotions increases dramatically.
- Special event coverage and programming begins. This led to the first ever reality TV show on Channel 20.
- Planning begins for the next wave of programming.
- “Creative Campus Television” (CCTV), a new student organization forms and pledges to collaborate with Residence Life and the internship program to produce quality programming for students.
- Staff of four students and one Residence Life professional staff member.
- General Manager, Student Manager, Video Production Interns (2), Graphic Artist (shared with Residence Life)
- Interns graduate at the end of the semester.
Fall 2005
- “Phoenix Connexion” debuts including “In the Know”, “On the Ball”, and “On the Reel”
- “4E New Briefs” debuts – a collaborative effort between Residence Life and the Fourth Estate
- “Jaded Nights” continues with a new cast
- “Phlash TV” selected as a new nickname for the channel based on a “Nickname the Channel” promotion.
- Men’s and Women’s Basketball returns with an increase in quality.
- Internship program expands to help address the growing demand for programming
- Staff of seven students and one Residence Life professional staff member.
- General Manager, Station Manager, Producer Interns (3), Video Production Interns (2), Graphic Artist (shared with Residence Life)
