Spring 2006

“Phoenix Connexion” continues to improve with enhanced graphics and frequent guests.
“Jaded Nights” adds studio host/guest component to mirror a more traditional late-night talk show format while still maintaining some of its original segments as well.
Increased demand for live event video production – “Say What Karaoke”, “Phoenix Idol”, “Danceworks”.
Jaded Nights Live airs at the end of the semester – first ever attempt at taking a studio show out of the studio and into the union ( Christie Theater).
“Creative Campus Television” continues to develop and provided most of the crew for the studio shows.
Three Wisconsin Broadcaster’s Association (WBA) Student Awards for Excellence were won in the Channel 20’s first ever attempt.

Internship program continues to expand to meet increasing need for programming and public relations.
Original student station manager (since Fall 2003) moves on and a replacement out of the internship program was hired mid-year.
Staff of nine students and one Residence Life professional staff member.

Fall 2006

Intern Program expands to support new organizational structure and meet the increasing demand for programming
“Phlash Card” debuts as a new team oriented game show designed to try to help build campus community by introducing people belonging to student organizations, teams, departments, buildings, etc.
All other shows from the previous semester are maintained.
Time Warner Cable is rerouted so that the University Union can now deliver Residence Life Channel 20 (starting mid-semester).
Staff of fifteen students and one Residence Life professional staff member.
