Chief Editor and Photographer

The Chief Editor and Photographer intern gets involved with a wide range of activities including but not limited to: assisting and supervising all aspects of production and post-production; maintaining, inventorying and training on all video production equipment, audio equipment, and lighting equipment; creative contribution to overall productions through monitoring of shot selection, lighting control, and post production work, non-linear editing using multiple software applications, and collaborating with various organizations and departments.

Chief Editor and Photographer interns should have excellent interpersonal communication, organizational and leadership skills, be able to work independently with attention to detail, to master and teach various software applications and production equipment. He/she must also be willing to work as a team member to collaborate with other staff members, student organizations, and volunteer staff (this includes being able to attend the weekly Channel 20 staff meeting). Prior coursework and/or field experience related to video production is necessary.
