Japanese and Taiwanese chemistry technologies excel in some areas:  Japanese in solar cell, liquid crystal display while Taiwanese in semiconductors and light emitting diode.

 

Dr. Franklin Chen was born and raised in Taiwan.  He is fluent in both Mandarin and Taiwanese, and has taken four year education in Technical Japanese.
