Recyling Information

Printer Cartridge Recycling

In spirit of going green on the UWGB campus, the Classified Staff Advisory Council will be collecting ink cartridges and toner packs for eco friendly disposal.  All manufacturers accepted! – HP, Canon, Panasonic, Sharp, Lexmark/IBM, Dell, Samsung, and Xerox.  Feel free to bring used cartridges from home too! 

Original cartridges only; no remanufactured/refills. Also, do not include toner tanks.

Environmental Sciences: ES-317

Residence Life: Mailroom

Student Services: Mailroom Hallway / SS-1300

Theater Hall: TH-331, TH-335

University Union: UU-150, UTIC Area, Union Crossroads Area (1st Floor)

Battery Recycling

All batteries accepted! – Alkaline (AA, AAA, C, D, 9V), Watch Batteries, Lithium (Computer Clock Batteries), Silver Oxide (Camera Batteries), Nickel Cadmium (NiCad or NiCad or NiCd rechargeable batteries), Lead Acid (e.g. Gel Cell Batteries, Car Batteries), Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH). These will be picked up by Batteries Plus.

Batteries must be placed in plastic bags to prevent corrosion and fire hazard. No more than 6 batteries per bag.

Aerosol Can Recycling

All aerosol cans accepted! – These will be punctured by the Hazardous Waste Staff. Contents will be disposed of properly and the empty cans will be recycled at the Brown County Materials Waste Facility (MRF).
