A recent study stated that the most pressing need of the arts industry is new leaders to take over for the generation that is close to retirement.  That’s why a major in arts management can be an entryway into an exciting and rapidly growing field.  Over 85% of the people who currently manage, market and raise funds for arts organizations started out as artists or performers themselves.  That’s why a minor in arts management can be a practical option for those who are majoring in art, music, theatre or even humanistic studies. 

We prepare students for careers in theaters, symphonies, arts councils and museums with a major or minor in Arts Management.
