CURRICULUM
Both the arts management major and minor emphases concentrate on learning about the administration of the arts in a not-for-profit setting, because this is the way that most of the artistic disciplines we study at the University level organize themselves. Coursework includes study in fund-raising, marketing, structure, management and programming with the unique needs of the arts world in mind. Students who graduate with an arts management major or minor are qualified to seek employment in theatres, museums, galleries, orchestras, arts councils or performing arts centers. Graduates of the program are working in arts organizations around Wisconsin. For more information on the arts management program, contact Ellen Rosewall, Associate Professor of Arts Management and coordinator of the Arts Management program. |
