Caps & Gowns

Caps and gowns for the Spring/Summer ceremony will be available for purchase online* beginning April 1, 2013 at THEphoenixbookstore.com and in The Phoenix Bookstore, University Union Room 205 April 24-26, 2013 (Fall/Winter dates not yet determined).

Purchases can be made after these dates, but size availability is not guaranteed. They will also be available during the Senior Resource Fair on April 3 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. (Fall/Winter dates not yet determined). The Phoenix Bookstore is open Monday through Thursday 8-6, Friday 8-4:30, and Saturday 10-2.

Tentative costs are as follows:

• Associate/Bachelor cap and gown $39.99 (includes tassel)
• Student Master’s cap and gown $36.99 (includes tassel)
• Student Master’s hood $36.99
• Tassel (single order) $7.99
• Tassel w/ UWGB charm $13.99
• Cap (single order) $9.99

The price for a cap and gown includes the tassel for all graduates. Tassels and caps are priced separately for those graduates who already own a gown and wish to purchase these additional items. All Green Weaver bachelor gowns are made from 100% recycled material.

NOTE: University of Wisconsin System policy states that approved caps and gowns must be worn for commencement ceremonies.
