How are Commencement tickets distributed?
Here's the breakdown:
Seats in the Weidner 2000
Approx. # grads marching - 300
Seats available for guests 1700
Seats reserved for guests of speakers
and award recipients - 65
Handicapped seating (approx.) - 35
Subtotal 1600
300 grads x 4 tickets each - 1200
Extra tickets 400
400 extra tickets for 300 students
Don’t panic! We have the ceremony running on closed-circuit monitors in the lobbies on all three levels of the Weidner Center and there is limited seating in those areas (large monitors in the main lobby). We do want your family and friends to be able to see you graduate, so don’t let a lack of tickets keep them from attending!
