Commencement
Tickets for Guests Attending the Ceremony
Spring/Summer Ceremony
There will be one indoor ceremony held at the Kress Events Center and tickets for your guests will be required (see ceremony details page).
Each graduate may order up to four (4) general admission tickets after registering for ceremony participation online.Because seating is limited, please order only the number of tickets you need. These guest tickets can be picked up beginning April 1, or 48 hours after registration if you signup after April 1, in the Provost Office, CL 835 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You will need to show your student ID. (Note: Please verify the information printed on the front of the ticket envelope for proper processional order in the ceremony.) All tickets requested MUST be picked up no later than 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 10. Unclaimed tickets will be distributed to other students requesting them.
If available, one additional ticket per day can be picked up in person from the Office of the Provost, CL835 starting May 13, 2013, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Again, you will need to show your student ID.Please call 465-2082 or email commencement@uwgb.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
Although we can't guarantee that all of your guests will be able to get seated in the auditorium (main gym - see ticket math below), we do encourage you to bring all of your guests to the ceremony even if they don't have tickets. More often than not, students only use some of the tickets they order and seats are available shortly before the start of the ceremony. In addition, keep in mind that the entire ceremony will be running on closed-circuit monitors in the Special Events Room, where there is seating. We do want your family and friends to be able to see you graduate, so please don't let a lack of tickets keep them from attending.
