Choosing Communication

Our objective is to help you make a reasonable assessment of how compatible your personal goals are with the Communication educational experience. If you can answer yes to the following, you are on the right track.

1. My G.P.A. meets or exceeds the required 2.5 minimum.
2. My personal goals are compatible with the mission statement of the Communication Program.
3. I am committed to achieving the learning outcomes outlined by the Communication Program.
4. I am committed to the faculty's expectations.
5. My learning style is compatible with the teaching philosophies of the Faculty.
6. I believe the course of study outlined in my Area of Emphasis provides the proper foundation for my future.
7. I am comfortable with the Career Opportunities in my area of emphasis.
8. I am committed to developing a Personal Action Plan and monitoring my progress.
9. I am willing to assess my strengths and weaknesses conscientiously.
10. I have completed the Communication Department application and submitted it to the appropriate advisor.
