About Computing & Information Technology

Computer and Information Technology (CIT) supports UW-Green Bay students, faculty, and staff in their use of computer technology and the Internet for instruction, research, and administrative services. CIT is comprised of three divisions: User Support Services, Network and Infrastructure Services , and Management Information Systems (MIS). The CIT offices are located in the underground Instructional Services building (IS 1150).

CIT support services include:

• IT help desk,
• Peoplesoft Student Information System,
• Windows and Macintosh desktop development,
• automated technology updates,
• computer replacement planning,
• student computer lab support,
• instructional and classroom technology support,
• campus web site design and maintenance,
• workshops and training,
• hardware repair,
• network infrastructure and server configuration,
• Internet access,
• network security and bandwidth management,
• computer virus, spam, and spyware protection,
• electronic test scoring and course evaluation.
