As coordinator of User Support Services, Diane oversees the CIT help desk, Windows and Macintosh desktop development, summer technology updates, student general access and specialty computer labs, computer training and documentation, computer repair, and the Learning Technology Center. Diane is also responsible for replacement planning, acquisitions, inventory, and disposal of campus workstations. She also participates in planning for campus technology initiatives and keeps the campus informed about technology issues as the IT Communications Officer.

As UW - Green Bay computer lab manager, Bonnie is responsible for configuring and maintaining the PCs in the general computer access (GCA) lab and numerous specialty labs. Bonnie also partners with Pat Theyerl to supervise and train our student lab consultants. In addition, Bonnie leads the development of our Windows configuration for faculty and staff PCs, serves as our Windows software installation expert, and implements regular campus software updates.

Roni manages our CIT help desk and is responsible for the implementation of our Magic help desk software. In this role, she supervises and trains the excellent students who assist in staffing the help desk. Roni also participates in the development and testing of the Windows desktop configuration and solves the majority of second-level support issues.

Mark oversees campus summer technology updates and maintains an inventory of all campus workstations. He also assists in the development of our Windows and Macintosh desktop configurations, supports department specialty applications, participates in overseeing Housing ResNet support, and assists with campus desktop databases.

Pat Theyerl

Pat serves the campus as our technology trainer, Microsoft Office application expert, and department web developer. In addition to conducting workshops for faculty, staff, and students, Pat works with our lab and help desk students to train and direct their technical and professional development. Together Pat and Bonnie supervise and mentor our student lab consultants. Pat also composes documentation and maintains CIT technical web sites.

Josh serves as our campus Macintosh administrator and senior help desk technician. He is responsible for configuring and supporting Macintosh computers in student labs and faculty/staff offices. In addition, Josh manages the Housing IT Service Center, which assists students in connecting their personal computers to ResNet. In that capacity, he trains and supervises student Service Center technicians. Josh holds a degree in Computer Science and has expertise in programming, scripting, Linux, and Netware.

As manager of the Learning Technology Center, Andy fosters and supports faculty use of technology in instruction and administers our Desire2Learn (D2L) course management software. Andy plays a lead role system-wide in testing D2L updates, evaluating needed functionality, solving problems, and integrating with our Peoplesoft Student Information System. He is an expert in digital video and audio technologies. In addition, Andy supervises the campus Webmaster and a staff of student technicians.

As an instructional designer, Leif plays a key role in the University’s efforts to develop, deliver, and support online and web-enhanced courses using the Desire2Learn (D2L) course management system. Leif works closely with faculty and staff, and provides them with the pedagogical consultation, instructional design support, software instruction, and individual support needed to develop successful and effective courses.

Barb is the MIS Systems Coordinator. Her responsibilities include the management of SIS and the integration of SIS to other systems. Also, Barb is the Oracle Database administrator responsible for the software, security, backup and recovery and performance and tuning of the central Oracle database of student information. She provides leadership on technical procedures including documentation, security, system performance, testing and rollout of new releases, patches and upgrades and enhancements.

Barb is responsible for the administration of the MIS team projects. This includes developing project plans and timelines for major MIS projects and monitoring the status of all MIS projects. Barb is the Peoplesoft Training Administrator and chair of the SIS User’s Group and the Security Administrator for SIS. In addition, Barb is a valuable source of information for student administration functions.

Marlene is the programmer assigned to the Student Records module in SIS. This includes student information and registration, advising and grade book. In addition, Marlene works with the SIS account management making sure that all students and faculty and staff have accounts in SIS as needed. Marlene has been very involved in TIS reporting and CDR reporting. She programs in SQR, PeopleTools, Peoplecode and Crystal Reports.

Jamel is the programmer assigned to the Admissions module in SIS. Also, she is a Visual Basic programmer and the web developer on the MIS team creating online web applications in ASP and ASP.NET. She provides support for interfaces between SIS and Voyager, One Card and Blackboard. Jamel developed the Alumni Phonathon application, Student Locator and online registration for R & R. She programs in SQR, PeopleTools, Peoplecode, Visual Basic, ASP, ASP.NET, FrontPage, Dreamweaver and VB script.

Bob is the programmer assigned to the Student Financials module in SIS supporting the Bursar’s office. Bob has been involved in setting up online credit card payment for tuition, international fees and senior fee processing. He has provided valuable support to the Bursar’s office for tuition calc processing and G/L interface support. In addition, Bob monitors and supports the Peoplesoft servers and software and the Oracle databases. He programs in SQR, PeopleTools, and Peoplecode and VB script.

Matt is the programmer assigned to the Financial Aid module in SIS. In addition, Matt supports the RMS Housing application which extracts information from SIS for Housing students. Matt worked on updates to the telephone billing system, the Student Financial statement process and the interfaces between SIS and RMS. He programs in SQR, PeopleTools and Peoplecode.

As manager of Network and Infrastructure Services, David oversees the campus network backbone, servers, firewalls, and security, He is the primary technical architect for the campus computing infrastructure and works with the Technology Council and other campus groups to advance the campus computing infrastructure. His primary operational duty is the management of the campus backbone, Residence Life network, access to the Internet, and firewalls. David is responsible for the monitoring, investigation and resolution of violations of the campus technology acceptable use policies. He coordinates contracts and contacts with key University technology partners including Microsoft, Gateway, Apple, Hewlett Packard, Extreme Networks, Checkpoint, McAfee, American Power Conversion, and Symantec.

She is the primary support specialist for the campus firewall, virtual private network (VPN), and implements all enterprise backup routines. Monika also supports the campus Linux server.
