
Internet Explorer 7 makes printing web pages easy. The Print Preview in combination with the Print dialog box can help you print a document that meets your needs. Internet Explorer 7 automatically scales a web page for printing, so the entire web page fits on your printed page. Print options also include adjustable margins, customizable page layouts, removable headers and footers, and an option to print only selected text. This document describes the following:
Before printing a web page, you may want to preview how the page will look and determine how many pages will print.
Navigate to the web page you would like to print
From the Command toolbar, click the
next to PRINT » select Print Preview...
The Print Preview window appears.
To change the appearance of the preview, click the appropriate button

To return to the browser without printing, click CLOSE![]()
If you would like to print an entire web page and allow Internet Explorer to automatically select its printing options, the Quick Print option will print your document without bringing up the Print dialog box.
Open the web page that you would like to print
From the Command toolbar, click PRINT![]()
The page(s) print.
If you would like to manually control the printing options for your pages, you will need to open the Print dialog box before printing. This dialog box is available by right-clicking the web page or from either the Print Preview screen or the File menu.
Navigate to the web page you would like to print
Right click within the page » select Print...
The Print dialog box appears.
From the Command toolbar, click the
next to PRINT » select Print Preview...
The Print Preview window appears.
Click PRINT![]()
The
Print dialog box appears.
By default, menus do not appear in Internet Explorer 7. You will need to display menus for this option to work.
If menus are not displayed, from the Command toolbar, click
TOOLS
» select Menu
Bar
Menus appear above the Links bar.
From the File menu, select Print...
The Print dialog box appears.
Printing from the Print dialog box allows you to select various print options such as which pages to print and number of copies to print. For more information on customizing your printed web pages, refer to Printing Options.
In the General tab, within the Page Range section, select the desired option
In the Select Printer section, verify the printer selection
In the Number of copies section, select the appropriate number of copies
Click PRINT. The page(s) prints.
