Creating an iDVD project from a Magic iDVD
Magic iDVD is a great way to get a quick start building a DVD with multiple movies and\or slideshows.
NOTE: If you want more control over your DVD design, click the Create Project button in the lower right to save your Magic iDVD choices as an iDVD project. As an iDVD project your DVD can be customized with additional menus, media, and personal touches.
Follow these step to create a Magic iDVD:
- Start iDVD and click the “Create a Magic iDVD” button or choose Magic iDVD from the File menu.
- Give your DVD a title and choose a theme for your DVD menus.
- Click the Movies button in the iLife Media Browser, select the movies you want to include, and drag them to the Drop Movies Here area.
- Click the Photos button in the iLife Media Browser, select an album from your iPhoto library to use as a slideshow, and drag it to the Drop Photos Here area.
- Click the Burn button.
- Insert a blank DVD-R (ONLY the DVD-R is compatiable with iDVD) into your SuperDrive or other compatible DVD burner. The rendering process will start immediately:
- When the process is complete, iDVD ejects your DVD and you can play it on a DVD player located on a PC, Macintosh, or a regular home DVD player used with your TV.
