Print as PDF - Quark Express

Always, Always, ALWAYS export and save as PDF prior to PRINTING a Quark Express document.

1. To print a Quark Document (*.qxd) to PDF:

   1. Select, File, Export, Layout as PDF...
      
      
      
      
   2. Give the document a new name if you want (you'll have an opportunity later...) and then select Options.
      
      
      
      
   3. Your instructor will want you to step through each of these categories and make whatever unique changes are necessary for the particular project you're working on. (For example: showing certain marks such as crop and bleed). After making all the changes, select OK.
      
      
      
      
   4. Navigate to the correct folder and nam your new PDF document. Click SAVE.
      
      
      
   
   
2. You may close Quark Express. Go to a Finder window - select this PDF and print. (If the document opens in PREVIEW and you would like all PDF's to open in Adobe Reader, make this change.
