1.) To obtain a copy of the most current VPN software: Go to http://www.checkpoint.com and click Downloads.
2.) Select VPN-1 SecuRemote / SecureClient from the Quick Links Menu.
3.) At the VPN-1 SecuRemote / SecureClient End User License Agreement Window, click Yes to accept the agreement.
4.) At the VPN-1 SecuRemote / SecureClient Software Window - look for newest NGX Auto-Installation Extended View. (it will always be listed in the TOP section of the page.)
5.) In the File Download - Security Popup Window, click Run.
6.) When prompted regarding Unverified Publisher, click Run.
7.) When the Check Point Installation Wizard launches, click Next to begin installation.
8.) At the License Agreement Window, click Yes to accept the agreement.
9.) At the Choose Destination Window, accept the default installation location by clicking Next.
10.) At the Desktop Security Window, select Install VPN-1 SecuRemote and click Next.(It will take a few minutes to install).

11.) When the Wizard is complete, ensure that “Yes, I want to restart my computer now” is selected and click Finish.
12.) After the computer is restarted, you can access SecuRemote by clicking > Start > Programs > Check Point VPN-1 SecuRemote > SecuRemote or by clicking the “Envelope with a Key” icon in the System Tray in the bottom right corner of your screen.
13.) The first time the software launches, you will be prompted to create a new site. Click Yes to proceed with site creation.

14.) In the Site Wizard Setup Window, type 143.200.225.11 in the Server Address or Name field. Click Next.
15.) In the Authentication Method Window, ensure User Name and Password is selected and click Next.

16.) In the User Details Window, type your campus username and password and click Next.

17.) In the Connectivity Settings Window, ensure Standard is selected and click Next.
18.) When prompted to Validate the Site, click Next.
19.) When notified the Site has been Created Successfully, click Finish.

20.) When prompted to Connect Now, click Yes.

21.) In the SecuRemote Connection box, enter your campus User name and Password and click Connect.
22.) When notified the Connection Succeeded, click OK.
23.) To map a campus network drive, right click My Computer on the desktop and select Map Network Drive.

24.) In the Map Network Drive box, type the path to the folder you want to access and click Finish.
25.) You be asked to enter your campus username and password. For your username to be recogized it must be written as follows: uwgreenbay\username. After the mapping is successfully created, the folder will open.
Note: Replace username with your actual campus username.
Some common mappings:
Faculty M: Drive: \\fpsa.uwgb.edu\username$
Student M: Drive: \\fpsb.uwgb.edu\lastinit\username$ (for example: \\fpsb.uwgb.edu\t\theyp99$)
Computer Science students Linux Server \\icsa.uwgb.edu\username
