Student Computing Guest Access Policy

UW - Green Bay may grant guest access to students from other campuses on a courtesy basis for up to five days. Any individual wishing to request guest access must meet with Diane Blohowiak or Bonnie Laundrie in the CIT office so that proper identification, needs, proposed usage, and an expiration date can be determined. They may be given use of the GBGuest account under NT. They should be informed of our appropriate use policies and warned that they should not allow anyone else to use the account.

Notification about a guest user should be sent to the Consultant list with the individual's name and period of access. The individual granting access (Diane or Bonnie) will be responsible for changing the password of the GBGuest account once the period of use is expired. If these students wish to print in the labs, they may purchase a card in the library.

Individuals needing Email or Internet access for a longer period of time will be advised to purchase the services of an Internet Service Provider (i.e. Infinity). UW - Green Bay is not responsible for providing services to any non registered student, even though that individual may not own a personal computer.
