Our Services:
SERVICES AVAILABLE TO CURRENTLY
ENROLLED UW-GREEN BAY STUDENTS ONLY
The Counseling and Health Center provides an on-campus medical clinic and opportunity for counseling on personal
and social concerns. The Counseling and Health Center is right here on campus located in SS1400 (Student Services room 1400).
Office hours are: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Stop in or call us at (920) 465-2380 for an appointment.
All currently enrolled UW-Green Bay students are
eligible for services. There is no charge to
see a nurse or a counselor. For all other costs for service,
please visit our Fees page.
Counseling Services
We offer counseling to all students. Counselors can assist students in dealing with a wide range of personal issues,
providing short term counseling, crisis
intervention, information and referral.
Issues that students often seek assistance with include but are not limited to concerns such as:
- study habits
- relationship issues
- adjustment to school
- procrastination
- eating disorders
- depression
- alcohol and drug concerns
- test anxiety
- self exploration
Consultation
Our staff is also available to discuss any concerns that you may have regarding the emotional well being of someone else.
For example, if you have a roommate who you think has an eating disorder, you might like to talk to a counselor about how
to approach the situation. Just call (920) 465-2380 to make an appointment to consult with a counselor.
Counseling Services Mission Statement
The mission of Counseling Services is to foster optimal psychosocial learning and adjustment of students/employees
along with assisting in the creation and maintenance of a healthy campus social, learning and employment environment.
Health Services
Health services include assessment of illness and injury; over-the-counter medications; information on health related
issues; allergy injections; tuberculosis
skin testing; routine immunizations; immunizations for travel
abroad; laboratory
testing, reproductive
health care; student health insurance; and equipment
loan.

We believe that a healthy student studying in a positive environment will enhance and facilitate the educational process.
Thus, Health Services promotes a health and wellness philosophy as integral components of an effective educational process.
