Mona Christensen, Director of Summer Camps and Conferences at in the Office of Outreach and Extension, received her bachelor of arts degree in Music with a minor in Business, and a masters of science degree in Administrative Science from UW-Green Bay.

From 1982 to 1997, Mona was an outreach program manager for the UW-Green Bay Summer Camp program. In 1997, she left UW-Green Bay to serve for five and a half years as ministries director for a large non-denominational church in Green Bay. Upon returning to UWGB in the fall of 2002, Mona has developed new camps for youth and new programs for adults, including national conferences and summer adult programming.

Currently, she is the advisor for the student organization Campus Crusade for Christ. She has also served on the board of the UW-Green Bay Alumni Association, was a member of Sounds of Silver Flute Choir, is currently on the Board of Advisors for Freedom House Homeless Shelter, and was in the 2005 class of Leadership Green Bay, sponsored by the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce. Mona enjoys coordinating large events and most recently was the volunteer marketing/promotions person for the Leap of Faith Lambeau event that occurred on July 7, 2007.
