Eric J. Morgan received his Ph.D. in history from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2009. His research and teaching interests focus on transnational social movements and issues of global justice, particularly human rights. He teaches courses on the United States in the world, modern America, and Sub-Saharan Africa in Democracy and Justice Studies and history. His scholarship has been featured in, among other publications, Diplomatic History, Enterprise & Society: The International Journal of Business History, Diplomacy & Statecraft, Passport: The Newsletter of the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations, and the Dictionary of African Biography. He is currently working on two book manuscripts: We Must Transform the World: The Influence of Transnational Anti-Apartheid Activism in the United States and South Africa and Global Crossroads: Globalization and Sub-Saharan Africa, co-authored with Andrew J. DeRoche.
