Kimberely Reilly joined the faculty of Democracy and Justice Studies in Fall 2013. She received her Ph.D. in history from the University of Chicago in 2008. She previously taught at the University of Baltimore, where she was a postdoctoral teaching fellow in the College of Arts and Sciences and a research fellow at the Center for International and Comparative Law. Her research focuses on the growing importance of intimacy and emotion in marriage in the early twentieth century U.S., and has been published in Law and History Review and the Journal of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era.
