Campus Accessibility
Housing
Student housing at UW-Green Bay is located several hundred yards from the academic core. It is connected to
the core via blacktop paths which are equipped with curb cuts. Each housing option has rooms which are accessible
to people using wheelchairs and other disabilities. Other accessible housing devises include: kitchen
modifications in apartment-style residence halls, flashing light for door bells, walk in showers, Braille markings,
and a remote control device to operate doors.
University Housing offers three options: apartment-style resident hall, traditional apartments and residence halls.
The apartment-style residence halls offer students the option of having their own bedroom available in a
four-person, four-bedroom apartment-style suite for added privacy. The traditional apartments are two-bedroom
apartments designed for four students which are complete with a living room/kitchen area. The residence halls are
completely furnished and offer students a private bathroom and shower in every room, vanity area and sink, in a
room shared by two students.
