Montmorency Falls, QuebecThe Montmorency Fault juxtaposes Grenvillian metamorphic rocks uplifted to the northwest against Paleozoic sedimentary rocks which are tilted upward against the fault. The dipping sedimentary rocks can be seen in the large cliff, and the fault is approximately along the ravine at far left.
