NE 1/4 Sec 2 T28N R27E, on the Lake Michigan shore 3.5 miles south of Jacksonport, Door County. Accessible from State Route 57 via Clark Lake Road (south) or Cave Point Drive (north), then via Schauer Road to the county park. |
One of the few rocky shorelines along the Lake Michigan shore. Low cliffs of Silurian dolomite about 3 meters high rise out of the water. Near the north end of the bluffs is a wave-cut cave that gives the point its name. To the north around a small point is a wave-cut rock platform.
