Goals/Objectives of the Center:
- Facilitate the improvement of teacher education programs to prepare K-12 teachers and university faculty to deliver accurate, culturally competent instruction about the history, culture and tribal sovereignty of American Indians.
- Support systemic, transformational curricular change through the creation and in fusion of curriculum and instruction that is built upon the holistic epistemology of indigenous people and Elder traditional teachers.
- Provide and support a place at UW Green Bay for the success of First Nations and indigenous students.
