Shirley Barber
She is from the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin. She is a language and culture specialist at the Oneida Turtle School. She has a bachelor's degree from UW-Green Bay, and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from UW-Milwaukee and a master's in technology education from Lesley University. Indian Engineering and Science Association.
Selma Buckwheat
She is from the Lac Courte Oreilles (LCO) Band of Lake Superior Anishinabeg. She has a long career working with area schools, sharing her stories with students and teachers about growing up on the LCO reservation.
Carol Cornelius Ph.D.
She is from the Onieda/Mohican/Brotherton Nations. She is active in the research and study of language, history and culture. She teaches at the College of Menominee Nation.
Napos (David Turney)
He is from the Menominee Nation of Wisconsin. As an adjunct lecturer, his classes include Menominee Ethnohistory and Introduction to First Nations Studies. He continues to study Menominee language preservation and traditional plants. His bachelor's degree is from Native American - Menominee Campus Educational Services College.
