37	Deadline If you want apply as a candidate for the SPRING SEMESTER, you need to have ALL admissions requirements completed by October the semester before. If you want to apply as a candidate for FALL SEMESTER, you need to have ALL admissions requirements completed by February the semester before.
38	Acceptance to Program Your application is reviewed by the Admissions Committee Very Competitive No Guarantee of Acceptance Must have candidate status to start the program
39	Background Check & TB Test You will be notified by mail upon acceptance as a candidate Once you are accepted as a candidate, you MUST complete the Background Check and TB Test requirements or you will be dropped from candidate status
40	Step 1 Accepted as a Candidate If you are accepted as a candidate, you will receive a letter telling you to enroll in Candidacy Block Courses. You can not enroll in any Candidacy Block Courses unless you have been admitted into the education program as a Candidate
41	Step 2 Full Admission Once you are a candidate in the program, you must earn a “BC” or better in your Candidacy Block Courses Must complete application for Full Admission Must have earned 40 credits Receive recommendations from Candidacy Block Team Maintain an overall GPA of 3.0
