Program Policies Statement

As a present or future pre-service teacher in the Professional Program in Education at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, you now represent the teaching profession. Your behavior and attitude in classes and professional settings reflect on the Education Program. As a professional, you are expected to come to all classes prepared to participate, extend your learning beyond the classroom and text, dress appropriately during field experiences, commit yourself to following an educational philosophy, and be an open-minded and active learner. These qualities will help you to develop into the type of teacher that faculty members can be enthusiastic and positive about recommending and school districts will want to hire.
