Welcome to the Professional Program in Education The University of Wisconsin Green Bay offers a teacher education program through the Professional Program in Education. The program is designed to prepare entry-level teachers with relevant content, professional knowledge and skills to effectively meet the future learning needs of a changing school population. The teacher education program is approved by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The University of Wisconsin Green Bay’s Professional Program in Education provides prospective teachers with an opportunity to work in a variety of education settings throughout their professional program. These school-based experiences include working with various ethnic, cultural, and economic groups, and children with exceptional educational needs.
