Course Description:

Increase your content knowledge of astronomy! Join us in this hands-on course to examine the Next Generation Science Standards for astronomy, explore interactive websites, and plan age-appropriate lessons for teaching astronomy in unique ways!

Stipend Information: A limited number of stipends for up to $225 are available to those who will be employed as a K-8 teacher in Wisconsin and who will be teaching science in 2013. This funding is made possible by the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium.
