This course is conducted entirely in Spanish and is aimed at meeting the needs of Spanish speakers, both fluent and developing, for added language practice!

Course Description:

This course, conducted entirely in Spanish, is aimed at meeting the needs of Spanish speakers, both fluent and developing, for added language practice. This objective will be met through exposure to Spanish language, literature, culture, and history through the study of the works of seminal as well as current authors. The study and discussion of the selected works of fiction will be conducted in a non-threatening college context that will allow participants the opportunity to share their opinions, verbally and in writing.

Comments from Participants:

“This class has been a great way to practice my Spanish. I have not had a literature class since college, so it was a great way to review those skills while enjoying myself and learning more about contemporary Spanish culture.”

“I learned about things related to my content area. I have more background knowledge and feel more competent to discuss these topics.”
