Course Description:

NOTE: This course is designed for those who have already completed the two-credit graduate course, “Transforming Curricular Pedagogy with 21st Century Practices”.

This course will focus on investigating more deeply the pedagogy changes required to meet the needs of 21st century learners. Participants will enhance a unit of instruction by further developing their personal learning networks (PLN) and becoming contributors to the greater body of knowledge.

One book is required for participants in this course. You will be contacted with more information about the book following the course registration deadline.

  • Course Number: ED & HUD 795-9, section 7411 (#0118D)

  • Prerequisite: Graduate Standing (Must have earned a bachelor’s degree); must have completed the two-credit graduate course, “Transforming Curricular Pedagogy with 21st Century Practices”.

  • Schedule: Mondays, September 30 and October 28, 2013 (4:00-7:00 p.m.). In addition, participants will engage in a minimum of nine hours of blogging and sharing reflections, connections, and ideas surrounding the required reading.
    (The official course start and end dates for fee and grade reporting purposes are September 30 to November 12, 2013.)
