Geared for educators of Grades K-5!

Educ Outreach Image1 Only

Course Description:

Join fellow K-5 educators to immerse yourself in the research regarding how children learn to read, how you know if students are ‘getting it,’ and what to do if they don’t! We will learn how to plan instructional strategies and techniques based on student needs, check for student understanding, and reflect on evidence of student achievement. We will also connect to the gradual release of responsibility model and the tenets of a balanced literacy program, reflecting on how these elements are carried out in our classrooms!
