Course Description:

You will learn about differentiated instruction research and strategies to meet the diverse needs of your students (from students with disabilities to gifted and talented). This course will be conducted in a workshop-based model whereby you will work with a current unit to differentiate and implement it during the course timeline, as well as reflect and evaluate the effectiveness of your lessons and strategies on student learning.

Two Graduate Credits ($650)
  • Course Number: ED & HUD 795-9, section 7400 (#0215D)

  • Prerequisite: Graduate Standing (Must have earned a bachelor’s degree); must be employed with the Plymouth school district to enroll.
  • Schedule: Mondays, September 29; October 6, 13, 20, 27; November 3, 10, 17, 24, 2014 (4:00-7:00 P.M.); and three hours of collaboration time in your classroom with one of the course instructors.
    (The official course start and end dates for fee and grade reporting purposes are September 29 to December 9, 2014.)

  • Teacher Standards # 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

Payment is due two weeks prior to the class start date.
